Centerville FD Battles a Fully Involved House on Q St.

 

The Centerville FD fought a fully involved structure fire on Q St. on August 16th, 2010.  Despite a good head start on the fire, a 5" lay was made to a nearby hydrant and the department quickly extinguished the fire, leaving much of the structure intact.

Memories of the Old Station

Many of the newer firemen never experienced the old fire station.  Here is a shot of the trucks parked out front.  Boy our new drive thru bays are nice!  It was a real pain trying to back the trucks in the old station sitting so close to the road...

 

Centerville FD Attends FDIC in Indianapolis, IN

Centerville FD Stops a Potential Gasoline Fire Disaster

   

Centerville FD recently prevented major damage to a gas station when a rental truck miscalculated the turn into a gas pump resulting in a fire to the gas island and the truck.  A quick attack using water and foam quickly saved the day.

Centerville Fire Department Hosts County Chief's Meeting

The Centerville Fire Department hosted the monthly Chief's meeting.  A fine meal prepared by Big Eddie's was enjoyed by all.
